Yerevan World Book Capital is again hosting representatives from translating and publishing culture coming from around the world. With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia and Intergovernmental Foundation of Educational, Scientific and Cultural Cooperation VI International Forum of Translators and Publishers will take place from November 5-8. The headline of the forum is: “Theory and Practice; Overcoming the Gap”. 
Within the frames of the three-day forum an international seminar “The Protection and Obtainment of Copyright” will be held with the cooperation of International Publishers Association and the “Next Page” focusing the professional discussions on all the copyright issues and questions that are actual in nowadays world. Antje Sorensen, the Deputy Secretary General of the International Publishers Association and the International Publishers Association expert Richard Balkwill will be present during the presentation and will present the nowadays copyright and corresponding issues and their protection. The Armenian experts will discuss the situation in this field: the problems and challenges. Afterwards, a discussion will start on making necessary legislative and practical changes. 
The Armenian Conference Schedule is full with round table discussions, translating literature and presentations of new publications, with lectures and master classes of famous translators and publishers, and literary readings by Armenian invited participants. Particularly in YSU, YSLU and Slavonic University Igor Sid (Ukraine), Margarita Khamlin (RF), Sergey Moreino (Lithuania) will give lectures and master classes. Eduard Harents (RA), Yevgeny Chigrin (RF), Anahit Tadevosyan (RA) and Shota Iatashvili (Georgia) will come forward with author readings. 
The working groups of the forum will have three round tables on the topics “Modern Methods of Teaching the Art of Translation”, “Unknown Literatures: the Translational and Publishing Practice” and “The Difficulties of Translating Small Languages”. The participants will talk about the publishing market, the factor of the copy quantity, upbringing the target readers issue, spreading and popularizing the literature and the role of the literature agents on this work the specifying not popular languages’ translators’ teaching methods as well as the Diaspora factor in some of these languages. 
Among the presentation of the international meeting, Alexandr Bozhko will present “Eternal Movement” book, devoted to M. Kotsiubynsky’s and S. Parajanov’s creative relations. On Kotsiubynsky’s creativity bases Parajanov shot “The Shadows of Forgotten Ancestors” film in Kiev, in a film studio named after Dovzhenko which brought fame to the director, and became one of the best poetic movies. The book presentation will be in Parajanov House-Museum with “The Meeting of Two Geniuses: M. Kotsiubynsky and S. Parajanov” headline. 
During the forum days Vadim Mesyats, Tatyana Danilyants and Areg Mirzoyan will present a special Literary-musical program to the forum participants. 
Among the dozen discussions the participants will also bring forward the best customs of Armenian translating culture and to combine the 3 thousand year old culture with the nowadays needs.

The International Poetry Festival will take place in the capital of Artsakh, Stepanakert on the 15-19th of October. It will be entitled "The Writer as a Herald of Peace". The writers from Artsakh, Armenia and foreign countries will be present at the festival. The participants of the festival will have meetings in Stepanakert,  at the House of Books of Shushi in Martakert district, at the historical Gandzasar where the prelate diocese of Artsakh will give his blessing and after the lighting of candles a literary-musical evening will take place “on board” of “Titanic”. The participants will also have a meeting with the students of Stepanakert. The conference “The Development Tendencies of Modern Lyrics” will take place in the hotel “Armenia”. The publication of the Poetry almanac in Armenian and English language "The Poem in the World Meridians" will be introduced during the conference. The event dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the famous food of Kharabagh “Jengyalov Bread” will be organized during the festival.
The foreign writers are Aleksandr Babrov, Arshak Ter-Sargsyan, Vladimir Ponomorev (Russia), Maghvala Gonashvili, Merab Kezua, Henri Dolidze, Anahit Bostanjyan (Georgia), Abdo Labaki, Sargis Kirakosyan (Lebanon), Wilhelm Barch, Qristian Qryze (Germany), Marius Chelaru, Lyudmila Bejhenaru (Romania), Roman Kisyov (Bulgaria), Lyubtisa Miletich, Babken Simonyan (Serbia), Peter Caui (USA).
